Smashing Pumpkins First US Date: Virgin Festival, plus Lollapalooza Update
As I keep hoping the Smashing Pumpkins will be at their hometown festival, Lollapalooza, they have been announced as a co-headlining spot at a US festival the same weekend. Virgin Festival, happening in Baltimore,MD August 4-5, will also feature The Police and The Beastie Boys. They will announce the rest of the line-up later.
Lollapalooza early-bird tickets go on sale April 3rd, while they plan to announce the full line-up on April 12th. Again, thanks to Sixtimes at the lollapalooza message board, here’s the confirmations as they stand:
