The Langerado Music Festival in Florida, which usually kicks off the festival season, has moved to Big Cypress Seminole Indian Reservation(most famously known for the place Phish played new years eve 2000) for next year's event taking place March 6th-9th 2008. Battles are releasing a new EP, Tonto+, featuring live tracks and and remixes from their stellar full length of this year, Tonto.
Nirvana's MTV Unplugged performance will finally be released on DVD, which means that now you have to pay for it instead of downloading it for free on the live music torrent sites.
