Free Download: Spree Wilson’s Evil Angel EP

Atlanta’s Spree Wilson, who I mentioned last week, just released an EP today titled Evil Angel. I’m listening to it right now, and I am totally digging it so far. This guy is a very versatile talent. The best part is he is giving this away for free, so you need to go get it right now. Also, look out for a bonus track. Here is a cut from it, a cover of a Jon Brion song:

Hottlanta Videos: Mastodon, Spree Wilson, IndieATL

Mastodon are going on tour with Dethklok, Converge, and High On Fire this fall, stopping by The Tabernacle November 5th. This news made me realize I never posted this video for “Divinations”:

I’ve been trying to dig a little deeper into the local hip-hop scene lately in search of something better than the Gucci infused “IgnorRap” that dominates this city.
