I’m sure many of you are growing tired of my constant hyping of Bradford Cox and company, so I promise I’ll cool out on it for a while eventually. But for now, OMFG I’m gonna see Deerhunter tonight! The first 100 people who show up will get a tape cassette of the “On Platts Eyott Island” session. The session was recorded during the evening of September 15th in a DIY studio on Platts Eyott Island in the UK and the idea is for it to be like a John Peel session. As per usual, it is amazing, so stream it here. Also, rumour has it that Deerhunter will be on 88.5 FM sometime today, so keep it left on the dial for that. What costume are you wearing tonight?
