thanks alot for this show. it’s always strange to experience strong emotions when someone you didn’t personally know dies. i was always a fan of jay and have been rooting for him, wishing that his health would improve. his talents left a strong impression on a lot of folks; a great legacy that his family, friends and fans can take comfort in. rest in peace jay – thanks for the music.

Wow. I just stumbled across this looking for Wilco in Toronto photos; and found instead the first Wilco show that I ever went to. C’est What is a tiny bar, and bands would play there in a room next to the bar. If you get there to drink early enough, you wouldn’t have to pay cover. That’s what happened to me. Class was over for the day, so a couple friends and I ended up going there as usual, and ended up seeing the show unplanned. They were great, and this brings back a lot of memories. I had no idea who they were back then; but having seen them 12 times in 3 countries, and bought 10 of their albums, I think it’s safe to say that I’ve repaid the original cover I ducked paying many times over. Thanks for posting.
