This Piano Plays Itself are releasing their second record, As The House…, tomorrow night (Friday, May 21) at the Drunken Unicorn. Before recently getting to hear the finished product, I had worried that I might have already gotten sick of the songs after hearing most of them thirty plus times on tour last summer, but I have been pleasantly surprised to find that I cannot stop listening to this album. You can pick up a free copy of it with admission to their release show tomorrow night. The lineup also features Ohmpark faves Untied States and Nomen Novum, so there is hardly a local bill that I could endorse more emphatically.
As The House… flows from one track to the another continuously and the entire work feels as if it is one epic piece of music, but here is a cut from it to preview, and you can stream the whole thing below:
