Sonz Of Acworth Release New Album For Free
Atlanta’s suburban hip-hop collective Sonz Of Acworth have just released their 10th full-length album, Rhythms Of The Dirty Down Under. They have made the entire album available for free digitally from their own site. If you don’t know about these guys, here is how they they describe themselves on their myspace:
The Sonz of Acworth, GA have been committed to bringing their choice, unique WASPy underground hip-hop/metal-fusion flavor to the Atlanta area since their inception in 1997 The Year of Our Tracy Lourdes (porn star).
Drawing inspiration from their shared experiences with notable students, faculty, and administration at Acworth’s celebrated North Cobb High School, with eight original full-length albums to-date, these middle-class Caucasian twenty-somethings offer a keen and progressive insight into the finer roots of the suburbanite hardcore novelty rap of the 21st century.
The Sonz of Acworth have been banned by the PTA, played by DJs at S&M fetish venues, barred from and locked out of many venues, and even visited by spirits of the deceased. We’ve had everything hurled at us from Easter eggs to ice cubes; broken everything from boards to venue monitors to spirits and hearts nationwide. More than half of its members have been incarcerated at some point in their lives for dangerous or lewd offenses against suburban white America.
By their own right, the Sonz of Acworth have shocked and awed people from coast to coast and beyond, opening eyes and mutilating genitalia from Allatoona to the Big Chicken. Often controversial, always professional, never watered-down! Join the movement; visit us and apply for gangship at www.sonzofacworth.net. You will receive an official Sonz gangbanger ID and an orange du-rag. Please allow 6 to 8 business weeks for the arrival of your gang member identification card.
