Tonight In The A: Secret Black Lips Show, Girl Talk Afterparty

If you didn’t score a ticket to the Girl Talk show tonight at The Variety Playhouse. there are other great options to check out for your Thursday night. First, the opening acts for Girl Talk, Grand Buffet and Hearts Of Darknesses wil be making their way over to The Highland Inn for a free after party in conjunction with the Kirkwood Ballers Club:

Also, rumour has it The Black Lips are playing a show tonight at The Earl under the name The Renegades, an ancient incarnation featuring some of these guys. The line-up is full of Black Lips approved bands, so if you can’t get enough of the retro-garage punk, you should definitely check it out.
