Submissions
For musicians, bands, labels, publicists, etc looking to submit material to Ohmpark for review, please read the following:
Ohmpark is based in Atlanta, GA, USA, and for the most part, we only cover the local music scene. If you or your band are not at least loosely affiliated with Atlanta or Georgia, we will not post about your music. If your artist or band is touring and coming through Atlanta, that would be something we might be interested in. Please put “Atlanta” in the email’s subject to be sure we don’t overlook your email among the hundreds of PR emails we receive every day from people who obviously haven’t read this page.
We enjoy receiving music in digital form (.mp3 or .wav please) accompanied by album artwork and any other info. Zipping it all together and putting it up on a hosting site (ie Mediafire), and then emailing us a link is a wonderful way to submit. If you would prefer to snail mail a physical copy, that is fine as well, just shoot us an email inquiring the address.
If you would be opposed to us posting one track from your submission to the blog temporarily to preview the release, then please say so when you submit.
When you email the link to your submission, feel free to throw in as many other links as you feel would be helpful, the Internets are fun.
