Live Videos: Deerhunter (8/15/2008) Free Show @ Vacation
I just got back from the killer Deerhunter show tonight. They totally wowed me again. The new material sounds awesome live, and they even did some new new stuff. The venue, Vacation, was a cool little shop that I recommend checking out too. The new guitar chick fit right in and was fun to watch. I absolutely loved how they opened with just about the softest, shortest song from Microcastle and played it as a long, hard jammer. Atlanta’s greatest in their prime:
